Staying in your comfort zone removes that extraordinary potential from you. People throughout history who are still remembered did not achieve their goals by being ordinary and stagnant. When you stay in your comfort zone, you lose the opportunity to show the world your potential and what you can really achieve and contribute. Your life goals are important, and you shouldn’t postpone or neglect them because they seem too difficult to achieve. Don't allow anxiety and laziness to stop you from facing your problems head-on. When faced with difficult situations as an entrepreneur, instead of giving up and stepping back into your shell, put in the work and rise to the challenge. When you get lazy, there's a loss of creativity. The downside, however, is the fact that when people get too comfortable in their routines, they often start to also get lazy and content. You feel more relaxed and stress-free while you are in it. By leaving your comfort zone, you change perspectives and give your mind a chance to grasp new concepts and processes.Ĭomfort is simply. Your brain realizes it is in unfamiliar territory and kicks into learning mode. The story changes entirely when you drive for the first time. Once you've learned, you always know what to do with your feet and how to balance. In other words, repetition bores your brain. There is actually scientific evidence that confirms that learning centers in your brain shut down once they have gotten used to doing something. If you are unwilling to even try, how then will you get to the stage of failing and persevering to actually become successful? It’s because they made huge successes after having tried and failed over and over again. Now, you might argue that it is not necessary for a person to fail before they succeed, but some of the best success stories are from people who tried and failed - severely! There is a reason school children still learn about Thomas Edison in class and Colonel Harland Sanders still makes it into business talks. There is no room for mistakes, and mistakes are what really help us learn. You won’t learn much from experiences and events when they are the same all day long. Here’s the bummer though: You cannot grow while following a path that is already familiar. Usually, in your comfort zone, there is a system that works that you are used to, and you can almost always control the outcome. There’s not much to learn in your comfort zone.
